  4. Release

    Built for classrooms and cohorts

    • Launched dedicated experiences for High Schools and Universities, mapping the build process to coursework and programs.

  1. Release

    Guided chat across every tool

    • Introduced conversational, guided intake across the tools, so builders are coached through each step instead of facing a blank form.

  2. Release

    The build workbench

    • Reorganised the code generation stages into a single, sequential workbench, giving builders one clear place to move from data to backend to frontend.

  3. Release

    Faster, more reliable generation

    • Rebuilt the generation engine on an asynchronous backend with background workers.
    • Large builds now generate dependably in the background instead of blocking on a single long request.

  4. Field Note
    Observation
The Observation: We shipped the Decisions Portal as a standalone portal alongside the Build Studio. Users who tried it concluded they could get the same output from ChatGPT. They were not entirely wrong. The outputs looked similar on the surface.
    Reality
The Reality: The portal was built on engineering principles that made its outputs more structured and accurate than a raw GPT prompt. But perceived value drives adoption, not actual value. If the first impression is "ChatGPT does this," we lose users before they ever experience the difference. Needing to convince someone of value they cannot see immediately is a direct adoption risk.
    What we did
The Evolution: We removed the standalone portal. The underlying features will be reimplemented as contextual add-ons embedded inside existing tools, where the engineering advantage is felt in the moment it matters rather than judged against a generic AI tool in isolation.
  5. Release

    Methodology page: reading clarity

    • Overhauled the content hierarchy on the Methodology page. Section headings, body text, and card sub-text now each occupy a distinct visual tier, reducing the mixed-size noise that made the page harder to scan.

  1. Release

    Expanded Ship Plan Previews

    • Added high-fidelity screenshots and video walkthroughs to all Ship Plans.
    • Users can now see exact feature layouts and output styles before starting a build.
    • Every plan now includes a visual "End State" preview to ensure alignment with your project goals.

    Enhanced Educational Context

    • Added detailed "How it works" and "Best use cases" sections to the discovery flow.
    • Introduced "Who it's for" context to help builders identify the right path for their specific technical background.
    • Refined landing page copy to better communicate the Zorentia mission and target personas.

    Navigation & Phrasing Optimization

    • Updated Ship Plan naming conventions to be more direct and outcome-oriented.
    • Improved copy across the site to make deliverables explicit and easy to understand.
    • Integrated "How it works" modules throughout the site to assist users at every stage of the build process.

  2. Field Note
    Observation
The Observation: During on-campus outreach, a CS student asked: "Are you basically just AI building it for me using ChatGPT? If it is, I am not really keen to try."
    Reality
The Reality: Our initial phrasing, "We show you how to build your app," sounded like the generic "magic" AI buttons that engineers (rightfully) distrust. We realized we needed to be louder about the fact that Zorentia is about legibility and agency, not just generation.
    What we did
The Evolution: We overhauled the website copy to emphasize that the student is the architect. We provide the executable sequence and the engineering artifacts, but you do the building. You remain in control of the code.
  3. Release

Codex Integration for Stages 7, 8, and 9

    • Integrated Codex as a local development plugin to streamline the transfer of code from Zorentia to your codebase.
    • Codex now automates the heavy lifting of file and folder structuring.
    • This update makes it significantly easier for builders to move from the Zorentia dashboard to a functional local environment.

Granular Instruction Depth for Stages 10, 11, and 12

    • Dramatically expanded the step-by-step guidance for deployment and infrastructure stages.
    • Moved from high-level summaries to explicit, granular instructions to ensure a 100% completion rate across all backgrounds.
    • Goal: Provide a "no-fail" path to deployment that requires zero external support.

    Credit Logic & Integrity

    • Introduced a lock on Ship Plan regeneration to ensure credits are used effectively on new ideas.
    • Added explicit documentation within each plan to ensure builders understand the roadmap before they commit.

    Signed, the Ship Team

  4. Release

    Value-Based Credit Modeling

    • Updated credit pricing for backend and frontend generation to be based on the number of screens.
    • This ensures the investment scales accurately with the amount of production code and infrastructure being generated.
    • Database generation remains a flat 2 credits, while logic and interface generation now reflect the complexity of the project scope.

  5. Release

    Unified MVP Scoper Integration

    • Linked all dependent stages (4, 5, 7, 8, and 9) directly to the Stage 3 MVP Scoper.
    • This architectural change ensures that every build is consistent and prevents missing details in the later stages of the chain.
    • Builders now select from their verified MVP scorecard to ensure a thorough and stable system build.

    Signed, the Ship Team

  6. Field Note
    Observation
The Observation: A website visitor reached out and asked: "Who is behind this? Who owns this? I want to know them."
    Reality
The Reality: We were so focused on the shipping infrastructure that we forgot to introduce the ship's architects. We did not have a team page or a founder story.
    What we did
The Evolution: We added the Founder Story page. We want people to see the faces and the philosophy driving Zorentia.
  7. Release

    Pricing Transparency

    • Made the Free Tier explicit on the pricing page to show new builders exactly how to get started.
    • Simplified the pricing structure into a single, high-value tier designed specifically for the student and independent builder market.

    Self-Serve Account Recovery

    • Launched an Access Key recovery tool to ensure builders never lose momentum.
    • This makes the onboarding process fully self-serve and ensures urgent access is always available during the build process.

    Signed, the Ship Team

  8. Release

    Direct Support Channels

    • Launched the official Contact Page to provide a direct line to the team.
    • Added explicit contact information to assist builders who need immediate feedback during high-stakes launch moments.
    • We are committed to ensuring no build hits a standstill.
